Account & Data Deletion

In accordance with Google Play's User Data & Deletion Policy, users have full control over their personal information and may permanently delete their account and associated data at any time without requiring access to the mobile application.

⚠️ Important Notice: Deleting your account is irreversible. Once processed, your profile, resume history, mock interview recordings, and preparation analytics cannot be restored.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

You can delete your account through either of the following two simple methods:

Method B: In-App Request

Open the HIRE HUB mobile app on your Android device.
Log in and navigate to the Profile screen.
Scroll down and select "Terms & Privacy Policy" or "Feedback & Inquiries".
Select "Request Account Deletion" or submit a ticket specifying your deletion request.

2. What Data Is Permanently Deleted

When your deletion request is completed, the following data is permanently purged from our live database (Supabase) and cloud storage:

Account Profile	Full name, email address, profile picture, university/college name, graduation year.
Resumes & Documents	All uploaded PDF/Word resume files, extracted career data, and ATS scoring reports.
Interview Practice	Voice audio recordings, text transcripts, simulated video recordings, and AI scorecards.
Coding & Test Data	Coding arena submissions, quiz responses, exam rank predictor inputs.
App Credentials	Supabase authentication UUID and associated session tokens.

3. What Data Is Retained (If Applicable)

We retain only the absolute minimum data required by applicable legal and financial regulations:

Financial & Payment Transaction Logs: UPI reference IDs and transaction timestamps are retained strictly for accounting, taxation, and fraud prevention as required by Indian financial compliance laws. No banking passwords or debit/credit card details are ever collected or retained.

4. Data Retention & Deletion Timeframe

⏱️ Processing Period: Upon receiving your verified deletion request, all personal records and uploaded documents are permanently purged within 7 business days (and at maximum within 14 calendar days). You will receive an email confirmation once the process is complete.
