HIRE HUB is an AI-powered college placement preparation platform providing mock interview simulations, automated resume ATS evaluation, coding arena practice, and competitive examination training.
This Privacy Policy applies to the HIRE HUB Android mobile application (Package ID: com.hirehub.placement) distributed via the Google Play Store.

We collect only the minimum necessary information to provide educational and placement preparation services:

- Account Information: Name, email address, and profile picture during registration or Google Sign-In authentication.
- Career & Educational Profile: College name, academic stream, graduation year, target jobs, and skills.
- Resumes & Career Documents: Uploaded PDF files parsed strictly for ATS matching score and personalized interview preparation.
- Interview Recordings & Transcripts: Audio speech responses and optional simulated video responses during practice interviews.
- Coding Submissions: Code entered into the coding arena to test algorithmic correctness.
- Payment Logs: UPI transaction reference ID / receipt for manual verification of premium tiers. We never collect or access credit/debit card numbers or banking passwords.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Device Metadata: Device model, Android OS version, crash diagnostics, and session performance statistics.
- Notification Push Tokens: Used strictly to deliver interview practice reminders and placement alerts.
3. Purpose of Data Processing
We use the collected information for legitimate educational and placement purposes:
- Securely authenticating user sessions via Supabase and Google Sign-In.
- Conducting dynamic AI-driven mock interviews and delivering constructive feedback.
- Calculating ATS compatibility scores on candidate resumes.
- Recommending curated internships and entry-level job opportunities.
- Maintaining platform integrity, preventing fraud, and ensuring safety.

5. Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with trustworthy third-party infrastructure providers that comply with global data protection standards:
- Google Play Services & Google Sign-In: App distribution, security, and authentication (Google Privacy Policy).
- Supabase: Scalable, encrypted database and user authentication (Supabase Privacy Policy).
- Google Gemini AI & Groq: Used for generating real-time AI responses and scoring. Candidate inputs are not used for public model training.
- Cloudinary: Encrypted storage for candidate interview recordings and media (Cloudinary Privacy Policy).
- Judge0: Sandboxed remote code execution API for coding challenges.

6. Data Security
All data transmitted between the HIRE HUB application and server endpoints is secured via high-grade TLS/HTTPS (SSL) encryption. Sensitive session credentials are kept in encrypted device storage using Android Keystore.
7. Account & Data Deletion Rights
In full compliance with Google Play's User Data & Deletion Policy, users have complete ownership over their data and may request permanent deletion at any time.

8. Children's Privacy
HIRE HUB is built for college students, university graduates, and adult job aspirants. We do not intentionally collect information from children under the age of 13. If any data belonging to a minor is inadvertently gathered, it is deleted immediately upon notice.
